AZ Cobra Club Father's Day Event June 14, 2003
Our AZ Cobra Club Father's Day Celebration took place at our store on Saturday 6-14-03. The turnout was great, we had all together 20 Cobras at our store! The biggest surprise of the night was definitely Tricia giving Tim a brand new Backdraft Roadsters as their 20th anniversary gift - Tim's face was priceless when walking into the store as this was a total surprise to him! And now we are all wondering what is Tim going to give Tricia... We met so many wonderful people and had such a good time that we'll definitely want to do this again! And look out for the new Cobra quiz as Mike just might know all the answers after studying his new AC Cobra book...

North Phoenix, AZ (June 5, 2003) – Anthem Motors is unveiling some of its innovative cars at the Big Boys & Their Toys showcase at the Phoenix Civic Plaza this weekend. On display will be special construction Cobra Roadsters, including new two-door roadsters from Backdraft Racing, where the rolling chassis is constructed in South Africa with a BMW suspension and 4-wheel braking system, then completed at Anthem Motors with an engine package selected by the customer such as new Ford crate engine and Tremec transmission.
“Anthem Motors features the kind of cars that give you an adrenalin rush,” said John Panfil, owner along with his wife Tarja. Anthem Motors specializes in exotic, sports and muscle cars. The North Phoenix boutique dealership features used and restored collector cars, custom-built high performance cars, Cobra replicas, plus a full service repair shop. “Anthem Motors gets you in the seat of an exotic, sports or muscle car at a fraction of the price thanks to our collection of used and replica cars available,” said Panfil.
Big Boys and Their Toys Expo takes place Friday – Sunday at the Phoenix Civic Plaza. Times are: Friday 2-9 p.m., Saturday, 10-9 p.m., Sunday 10- 6 p.m. Admission is $10, free for children under age 12.
